Maplewood Care is a 203 bed nursing facility and is approved for Medicare, Medicaid and private insurances.  Additionally the facility accepts Public Aid pending residents with no deposit required.  Services provided range from PT, OT, and Speech therapy to IV and respiratory therapy, from wound care to hospice and respite care, from Alzheimers/Dementia care to Psychiatric Rehabilitation.  Please contact us at 847-697-3750 for questions or to take a tour of our home.  We will be happy to assist you.

Welcome to Maplewood Care of Elgin. Our 203 bed nursing facility strives to provide the utmost in quality nursing care and rehabilitation services. Our facility offers short and long term care to meet a variety of individuals needs and conditions. Our short-term residents usually come to us for our expertise in meeting their rehabilitation needs. Our long term residents (and families) are happy to call Maplewood Care their home.

All of us here at Maplewood Care recognize the enormous amount of trust family members are placing in us when they choose Maplewood Care to provide care to their loved one. We work hard each day to make sure we never lose their trust, or faith in us.

Maplewood Care has two floors of resident caring. The first floor is designed to meet the needs of residents with medical conditions, including our hospital step-down Medicare wing. The second floor is primarily designed to meet the needs of residents with Alzheimer's and other dementia related diagnoses.

Maplewood Care is licensed by the State of Illinois and is approved and certified for Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid pending, and many insurance plans. In addition, Maplewood Care is fortunate to be included in the Illinois Department of Public Aid, Exceptional Care program. This program is designed for those individuals needing more services or care than the "normal" nursing facility can provide on a cost basis. We are proud to be able to offer these more "exceptional services" to our community.
